How University Examiners Check Answer Sheets
In this article, we will understand how an examiner checks a student’s answer sheet. We will also see what they actually think while checking the answer sheet. This helps the student a lot while writing the exam.
University examiners use a systematic method to check answer sheets because examiners have to check a large number of answer sheets. They have limited time to check. There are some points you can keep in mind while writing the question paper.
1. First Impression Matters
The examiner checks how you present the answer sheet to him, and how you have written the answer to the question. This is what really matters the most, maintain your correct format like heading paragraph spacing everything should be neat and clean. Write the exam like a topper.
Note: Try to avoid spelling mistakes as much as possible.
2. Write Direct Answer
Examiners do not want students to write unnecessary things because it makes it very difficult for the examinee to check the answer sheet, sometimes the examinee also gets frustrated, so you should never create confusion. Sometimes students write the same answer in different sentences. Students should also avoid this.
3. Student Should Remember
The student just needs to remember these four points and apply them to every question. This will increase the chances of getting high marks in that particular answer. This is the common answer writing format in which each examiner and they check the sheet step by step in this format.
- Definition | Introduction (Should be in three to four lines)
- Explanation | Concept (Explain in detail)
- Diagram | Example (If you can drow)
- Conclusion (Write a summary after completing your answer.)
4. Examiner Never Miss
There are some answer sections that the exam never runs out to check. They really take an interest in it.
- First Answer
- Definitions which writen within two to three line
- Diagrams based Answer
- Comparisons Answer
- Numerical and points steps Answer
- Underlines and headings
5. Attempt all Questions
Don’t leave any question, attempt everything. Write whatever you know about the question there, don’t leave any question. Because examiners also give marks for steps like if you don’t know the diagram or the last things, then you can just give the definition and rest of things, they will still give you half marks.
